When Black Flag , The band,  finally settled into a stable unit with Ginn on guitar, Chuck Dukowski on bass, Robo on drums, and Dez Cadena as the permanent vocalist. It was with this line-up that Black Flag first ventured out on its first US tours.

Craig Boardman as been accused of accusing Vic Reeves of basing his act of the "Club Singer " on a Craig Boardman  act he may have witnessed at the Cobies Bar ...Royston 1991.

Craig Boardman was then reportedly trying to push the mutlimedia technology button with his refreshingly new act . A new verison of the classic track " Ebony & Ivory ". Craig Boardman  would perform the act live with  cut 'n' paste snippets of footage of the late Paul Robeson singing Stevie Wonders parts.To a scratcty  DJ . 

In fact Vic Reeves was reportedly in the audence at the cobies bar at one of the early rehearsal nights..... Billed as  Ebony & Ivory .. White on Black,,Black On White ...No Grey areas or hiers and graces ..... The show was later due to be performed at the " Stevie Wonders OF The World " Conventition .

   Sir Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder wrote the preachy song comparing people of all races to the keys on a piano.The little tinkers.
